Cultural heritage of World Heritage candidate Hiraizumi

Iwate Prefecture Hiraizumi is ground where the Heian era end and 4 Mr. Fujiwara of Oshu generation have built the culture for about 100 years. The unique culture such as Buddhist temples and the paradise gardens has been developed while receiving the culture of the capital. The cultural heritage of Hiraizumi was registered in “Tentative list” in 2001. In Iwate Prefecture, it works on various movements aiming at the World Heritage registration in 2008.
It might be Chusonji that first imagines as Mr. Fujiwara’s culture. It is a peculiar one temple in a mountain academy to Tendai sect. It is told that it was founded by [itsukushisato] saint [enjin] in 850 years. Afterwards, Mr. Fujiwara’s of Oshu founder Kiyoshi [**] moved the stronghold to Hiraizumi, and it built. As for the Hisashi Daicho academy, [**] Amitabha images of nine meters in height are enshrined to the inside as a principal image in a big building of 15 meters in height. It is said that it is surprised because the [minamototayo] morning when Hiraizumi was invaded sees the Hisashi Daicho academy, and [naga**tera] was built in Kamakura. [Kiyo**] built a lot of large cathedrals, and completed the golden hall in 1124. The golden hall is a national treasure. It is the one of unparalleled cultural original Hiraizumi.
It is Motsuji temple to represent the Hiraizumi culture as well as Chusonji. It is told that it was founded to same [itsukushisato] saint [enjin] with Chusonji. The temple and the tower remain at that time, a building at that time doesn’t remain due to a fire though the building to which the priest lives as for 40 or more was big 500 or more. Oizumi..pond..coast..beautiful..show..one..now..one..excavation..investigation..restoration..maintain.It is the one faithfully made in the book of secrets ‘Garden record by’ of the garden making at the Heian era. [Yamizu] meanders gradually, and the paradise paradise of this world. The specification of a special place of scenic beauty has been received.
Additionally, the cultural heritage of Hiraizumi such as the warehouse town ruins, the golden pheasant mountains, and the [yanagikore] imperial palace ruins takes pride in a deep charm. It has already wished registration to World Heritage to be achieved by all means as an unique culture of Oshu following Kyoto and Nara registered in World Heritage.
