The small country (Tunisia) that faces the north end and the Mediterranean sea in Africa for Japan that is called “Country where the sun rises” is called in the Arabia language Maghreb (place where the day sinks). The hill and the hornbeam [bu] side of city Tunis and the suburbs in Mediterranean coast where the contrast of a blue sea and a white house is beautiful are called the most beautiful town in Tunisia. Scenery that Sahara desert is desolate in the southern part that wears the sorrow somewhere however extends.
Japan is greatly or actually becomes the location site of a lot of movies such as movie “Star Wars” and “English pageant” this ground of Africa of the hatchet, and makes the moviegoer feel nostalgia. Moreover, “[Ishukeru] national park” in the vicinity of the Mediterranean sea coast in a Tunisian northern part including the lake and the [ishukeru] lake is an untouched marshland zone that the migrant of tens of 10000 visits every year. [Ishukeru] national park has been registered in the world natural heritage of UNESCO as migrant’s important relay ground since 1980. However, the construction of the dam in the river in the lake that was the head of a river brought the substantial change to the ecosystem of the lake and the marsh.
The amount of the fresh water that flows in the lake because of the dam has decreased sharply. Therefore, the fresh water plant like Yoshi and the carex, etc. replaced the plant of halophilism. This has rapidly decreased the number of individuals of migrants.
[Ishukeru] national park was registered in the crisis inheritance of UNESCO in 1996. A Tunisian government tried some steps for the maintenance of the fresh water and a decrease of salinity. However, it is being reported that the chance of recovery is rapidly lost by an extreme rise of the salinity concentration by World Conservation Union (IUCN).
